The Emissaries are a global network of individuals from more than a dozen countries with a wide variety of professional experience who are passionate about responsible and Islamic finance who came together to support the RFI Foundation’s mission. They come from diverse backgrounds, but share a common vision of promoting ethical and sustainable financial practices that align with their values and principles.
This dedicated group of professionals, thought leaders, and advocates play a crucial role in driving positive change within the financial industry, fostering innovation, and promoting economic inclusivity. Through their collective efforts, the Emissaries strive to create a more equitable and responsible financial system that benefits individuals, communities, and the planet.

The Emissary Leadership Group was formed to provide the growing RFI Emissary Network with a central place for direction, support, and focus on initiatives that support the RFI Foundation’s strategic objectives. The Emissary Leadership Group members represent the Emissaries in working with RFI’s Board of Directors and Advisors to the Directors. The chairperson of the ELG is an Advisor to the Directors of the RFI Foundation, C.I.C.

Are you an advocate for sustainable & responsible finance? Do you share our passion for an equitable and regenerative future? Join our global network of Emissaries who drive sustainability through individual and institutional action and collaborations with others.
Please submit your application below to be considered as a member of the Emissary Network. There is no fee for joining the Emissary Network, but all applicants are reviewed based on whether they have demonstrated professional experience and personal passion for responsible finance, in addition to a due diligence review performed on all applicants.
All Emissaries serve in their individual capacities. We ask for information about your current title and company and your professional profile on LinkedIn to help evaluate the relevance of your professional experience to responsible finance. All Emissaries accepted into the Emissary Network will be asked to sign a Code of Conduct relating to your activity as an Emissary which outline the expected conduct of Emissaries as well as the grounds for terminating participation as an Emissary in certain situations.

The applicant certifies that the particulars given in this application including all documents attached hereto or otherwise provided to RFI Foundation are accurate and complete in every respect. If information given in this application is materially false or misleading, or the continued participation of the Applicant is determined to be, by the vote of a majority of the RFI Board of Directors, to be detrimental to RFI, the RFI may suspend or may revoke the Applicant’s status as an RFI Emissary.
