Mr. Daud Vicary Abdullah

Daud Vicary Abdullah is the Managing Director of DVA Consulting, an Islamic Finance Advisory, and an Advisor to the Directors at the Responsible Finance and Investment (RFI) Foundation, C.I.C. He is the former President and CEO of INCEIF-The Global University of Islamic Finance, the former Global Leader for Islamic Finance at Deloitte and is the former CEO of two start up Islamic Banks in Malaysia.

In “retirement” he focuses on using his experience to support SRI and SDG initiatives and young entrepreneurs. He chairs the Board at HSC Alliance, enhancing Halal Supply Chain protocols and integrity . He is a Non Executive Director at both Fasset Labuan and Finalytix. He is also a working group member at the Planetary Health Alliance. He graduated from Bristol University with a BSc (Econ) in Economic and Social History. Is a CPIF (Chartered Professional in Islamic Finance) and a FCPA (Fellow of CPA Australia).
